The Philippine Trade Training Center – Global MSME Academy (PTTC-GMEA) and Fashion Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) signed a Memorandum of Agreement at the PTTC on October 7 in an effort to forge a stronger partnership and promote the Fashion Industry through the upcoming PHx Fashion Conference.

The PHx Fashion Conference is an exceptional initiative that aims to equip the Philippines’ Fashion Industry in becoming globally competitive by bringing in local and international experts.

The first installment of the Conference looks into the Japanese market. “We have found partners in Japan who can provide the credible knowledge and information. But generally, the entire conference is really meant to open the eyes of everyone to the international market,” said Aranaz-Alunan.

Workshops, creative talks, panel discussions, and an exclusive portfolio review will delve into the creative and business sides of the Fashion Industry.

To cap off the Conference, the Fashion Ecosystem Dialogue will be gathering different government agencies to discuss their projects and activities, and to recognize how collaborative efforts enable the Industry to operate and excel.

With the strengthened partnership of PTTC-GMEA and FDCP, both see the opportunity of bringing the Philippines’ Fashion Industry at an international level and building a culture of inclusivity.

Tons of learning and opportunities await so don’t miss the chance to join the PHx Fashion Conference this November 11-14 at the Philippine Trade Training Center, Pasay City! For more updates, visit www.phxfashion.org and http://pttc.gov.ph
